A soul time is a spiritual bond or connection with another person, willingly or unwillingly. When you allow someone to have access to the chambers of your heart or through the doorways of your mind, you open yourself up to receive what they have or are bringing to you. Does that make sense so far? To break it down a little further, here are two scriptures that give examples of positive and negative soul ties:
Marriage [Positive Soul Tie]:
Mark 10:6-9
6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Fornication [Negative Soul Tie]:
1 Corinthians 6:15-16
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
Warnings Against Ungodly Soul Ties:
1 Corinthians 6:18
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

2. (v. t.) To form into a knot, or into knots; to tie together, as cord; to fasten by tying.
5. (v. t.) To unite closely; to connect; to engage; as, hearts knit together in love.
Flee (Strong's G5343 - pheugō
III. to be saved by flight, to escape safely out of danger
Fornication (Strong's G4202 - porneia)
I. illicit sexual intercourse
adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, intercourse with animals etc.
sexual intercourse with close relatives; Lev. 18
sexual intercourse with a divorced man or woman; Mk. 10:11,12
God's Body [The Church]:
Ephesians 4:16 Amplified Bible (AMP)
16 From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up [a]in [unselfish] love.
God intends for the church (HIS body) to be connected together and on one accord, in the spirit of himself--LOVE. Likewise, he intends for his beloved to be joined together with the right relationships, that are infused with the essence and power of his goodness and nothing that produces ungodly fruit.
God's Love [Intentional Knit]
1 John 4:7-9 King James Version (KJV)
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
God's love for us is so strong that he wants the very best for us. Waiting to be married can seem like a tough road to travel, but it is worth it in the end. God desires to keep us from the uneccessary pains of pre-marital sex and ungodly relationships. He wants us to know the peace that he gives in knowing that you have his best for you. When we love, we love unto God, not unto our flesh, which only brings lust and leads us to paths of unrighteousness.
Break Ungodly Soul Ties:
Dear God, I come before you humble and transparent. I first want to thank you for your goodness towards me, even though I have strayed away from your desired plan for my life. I ask that you will forgive me for my sins that I have committed against you and against my own body. I break every vow that I have professed out of my mouth or that someone else has declared over me that would cause me to be connected, intertwined, or knitted to ______________ [say the name(s) of the person(s) who you may have an ugodly soultie with here]. I break every ungodly soultie that I have physically committed with ______________ [say the name(s) of the person(s) who you may have an ugodly soultie with here] . I renounce and sever it now.
I plead the blood of Jesus over my life and close any spiritual doorway that has been opened through those ungodly acts or thoughts.
I commit my life and body back to God and will follow the plans that he has for my life. I will walk in purity and abstain from fornication and ungodly soulties that would cause me to become bound and led astray. I thank you heavenly Father for placing godly and positive relationships around me, so that I may grow and develop into the man/woman that you have designed me to be.
